The aim of the club is to develop debating skills as practised in the United Nations. This allows students to enhance their public speaking capabilities, build their confidence and enrich their knowledge of current affairs. Participation in MUN conferences allows students to apply these skills as well as acquire a greater understanding of other cultures. They develop a sensibility to pressing international issues which adds value to their profile when applying to university.

Our club attended the Mediterranean Model United Nations (MEDI.M.U.N.) in Nicosia, Cyprus.
In November 2017, a delegation of the MUN Club visited the Presidential Palace by invitation of the United Nations Association of Cyprus to celebrate United Nations Day. We are the only school on the island that is invited annually to attend this prestigious event. We had the opportunity to meet dignitaries from many embassies, local politicians and the President of the Republic of Cyprus.
