The club aims to encourage students to apply their mathematical knowledge and build on their critical thinking skills, enlighten and expose them to how mathematical concepts and practices are actually used in real life. The club organises various events such as visits to national technological exhibitions and government or private sector locations where mathematics is applied in the workplace. Students are urged to participate in many competitions/conferences including: the Regional and Pancyprian Mathematics Competitions; the Student Relay Competition; the Cyprus Math Olympiad; the Summer Math School and the Euromath Conference.
